recipe of today makes my heart tickle of joy each time I do it.
prepared it the first time when I was preparing for my 2K Instagram followers photo-shoot and I have been working on improving it since then.
but this is the final result I achieved!! I love this recipe for many reasons but the most important ones are the combinations of sweet and deep authentic taste of this snack recipe and it is easy to do and it can be your snacks for days in advance and store it in the fridge.
just mix and match with the fruits . I tried it with the strawberry and kiwi for the 2K Instagram followers photo-shoot .
it was fresh and exotic but for a more authentic deep delicious taste I recommend using apples or pears to have that ABSOLUTELY PERFECT combination!
very easy and tasty snack to prepare to spice up your snacking adventure!
- 1 tbsp tahini
- 1 tbsp raw honey
- dash salt
- 2 slices whole wheat bread
- 1 medium apple (sweet type of apple preferably)
- 1 tsp dry rosemary leaves (or fresh)
- 1 tbsp raw honey for garnish
just mix the tahini and honey with a little dash of salt until well combined
you can toast the bread slices before.
than spread the tahini mixture evenly on the two slices
top it with apple (cut into thin slices)
drizzle some honey and remaining tahini mixture on top of it
and sprinkle some rosemary leaves on top of it
serve and enjoy!
you use pear instead of the apple
you can mix and match with the topping with some grounded cinnamon or some crushed nuts.
but I really recommend trying the combination above and build up from there.
You can prepare 4 slices in advance and store it for your daily snack for the next 4 days in the fridge.
