Mulberry morning smoothie

The berries season is here and I can’t wait to start my morning with my favorite colorful smoothie!

Beside of having the most beautiful burgundy color of all, the mulberries have a lot of benefits for your body and health.

Mulberries are filled with nutrients including iron, vitamin C, vitamin K, potassium, calcium and many others. They have as well a significant amount of dietary fiber and a wide range of organic compounds.

Those many nutrition values make those burgundy berries a great helper in improving digestive health and immune system and a great antioxidants booster.

Mulberry morning smoothie:

Yield 1-2 serving

  • 1 cup fresh mulberries, washed and drained
  • 1 medium banana
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • 1 cup Greek Yoghurt
  • ¼ cup Oat
  • 1 Tbsp. chia seeds

  • Pour all ingredients in the blender and blend on high speed until smooth
  • You can add water if you want a thinner texture and you can add some ice cubes for a chiller smoothie.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Nutritional information: I honestly have the whole recipe on breakfast but you can divide it on 2 and add some water if you are on a diet with lesser calories intake
