Notes
Rapeseed oil: I like to cook with this oil because it’s lower in saturated fat and higher in vitamin E and has a higher smoke point making it a better choice for cooking. But you can replace it with any vegetable oil with a neutral taste from your choice it won’t affect the overall taste or texture of the recipe.Cayenne pepper: you can totally omit this ingredient or replace it with any of your favorite spicy seasoning like chili.WATER: I use the water to loosen up the gravy in this stew, you may need less or ore according to your taste and you can replace it with beef or vegetable broth also.Lebanese vermicelli rice: this rice is a simple three ingredient staple Lebanese side dishes made with vermicelli pasta, basmati rice and some oil for cooking, if you want to know how to do it just check my Instagram story highlight under the name “vermicelli rice”.
