Whoever said that you can’t have a chocolate smoothie if you are trying to be healthy and manage your weight is so wrong. A healthy chocolate smoothie is easily possible.
This smoothie is the perfect combination of good fats and healthy ingredients with a sweet delicious taste. We all know how much benefit you can do to your body by eating avocado. And some of us just don’t like the taste or the texture of this super fruit.
This smoothie is perfect to satisfy those afternoon chocolate cravings in a healthy way without even feel the taste of the avocado. And even a great way to start your busy day and keep going till lunch time.
In this time of the year, no matter where I go shopping avocado is everywhere and in cheap prices, so I can’t resist the urge of buying it till I ended up with a pill of ripe avocado that need to be used immediately , but that is not a problem, I peeled it, cut it and place on a tray and slip it into freezer, the next day store in zip lock bag for later use in the winter when avocado is even too expensive to buy or you can’t find it any more in the market. You can also pure the avocado and keep it in zip lock bag or ice cubes trays.
Ingredients:
- ½ ripped avocado.
- 1 Apple
- ½ cinnamon
- ½ Cup Aloe Vera.
- 1 tsp. chia seeds.
- 1 Tbsp. cocoa powder.
- ½ cup almond milk
Instructions:
Pour all ingredients in blender, and mix on high speed till smooth, serve and enjoy!
You can adjust the texture of the smoothie to your taste with water. This recipe has more like a pudding texture.
